Welcome to BeatBandit! This guide will help you get up and running in just a few minutes. BeatBandit is a web-based application that requires no installation - simply sign up and start writing!

System Requirements​

  • Chrome (version 90+)
  • Firefox (version 88+)
  • Safari (version 14+)
  • Edge (version 90+)
  • Internet Connection: Stable broadband connection
  • Screen Resolution: 1280x720 minimum, 1920x1080 recommended
  • Memory: 4GB RAM minimum, 8GB recommended

Creating Your Account​

  1. Visit beatbandit.ai
  2. Click Sign Up in the top navigation
  3. Choose your sign-up method:
    • Email and password
    • Google account
    • GitHub account
  4. Verify your email (if using email signup)
  5. Complete your profile setup

Credits System​

BeatBandit uses a credit-based system for AI assistance:

  • Each AI interaction (suggestions, generation, chat) consumes credits
  • You start with free credits to explore the platform
  • Purchase additional credits as needed through the Credits page
  • Credits are used across all AI features including Magic Suggestions, scene generation, and chat assistance

Purchasing Credits​

  1. Navigate to the Credits page from your account menu
  2. Choose a credit package that suits your needs
  3. Complete the secure payment process
  4. Credits are added to your account immediately

After creating your account, you're ready to start writing! No additional setup is required.

  • Treatment → The full narrative
  • Beat Sheet → Story structure
